My sewing room is finished. Ted installed the new desk/sewing table last week and the matching filing cart. It looks great and is so much more functional then it was, more storage and more floor space. Thank you to Mookie for the idea that made it all work. Now that Ted has done so much work for me, I'm finally starting to make him the parachutes for his rockets that he's been asking me to do for some time. Sorry it took me so long my love. I also plan to try my hand at quilting. I did some about 20 years ago, making my daughters matching bed quilts, so I'll see what I can remember...Bunny

As I have mentioned before, my bunny Ozzie loves to be petted.  Yesterday, we let him run around the sewing room and he found a way to stay cool, relax and have his head petted at the same time.  Check it out....Bunny

As the fan oscillates, it brushes over his head and gently pets him.

Well, both Ted and I are definately feeling our age right now.  The book cases were bought and put together by my dear hubby and I loaded them back up with all the stuff we moved out of the way yesterday.  I now have SOOoooo much more space, I'm loving life...Bunny

As I mentioned a few articles ago, I had gone to Ikea to look for new furniture for my sewing room.  I've decided what peices are going to be purchased, so todays tasks was to move the furniture that was staying, to their new locations and get ready for some of the new furniture to be picked up tomorrow.  I think today was the worst of it, as we had to find places to put stuff once we unloaded an old bookcase, a table that's being removed and then move a dresser and of course the bunnies to their new spots in the room.

Tomorrows purchase consists of 2 tall bookcases and 1 small bookcase.  Clicking the link will take you to either the short or the tall, and there's a drop down window to allow you to see color choices and height choices.  I've chosen the birch. 

Once the book cases are home and assembled, the next items are my  new desk/sewing table and a draw unit .

I have to thank my wonderful husband for putting up with me and for all the 'grunt' work that I can't do myself.  .... Bunny
